Our recently renovated, eco-friendly, private four-bedroom main house sits on a stunning plateau overlooking the lush River Valley.
With an open plan living area, expect to find all your home comforts, Wi-Fi, cellular reception, washing machine, tumble dryer, oven, microwave, dishwasher, wood burning stove and a separate drinks fridge.
There are two double bedrooms, including one with ensuite facilities, and a separate bathroom with bath and shower. The fourth bedroom has a beautifully crafted children’s bunkbed.
The river lodge is totally environmentally friendly with its own solar system and having been built totally from wood.. the water is pumped and filtered from the river.. this is now the Same as the main house… and both are totally self sustaining.
The tasteful, African inspired, neutral décor compliments the stunning natural world outside. The use of wood feature walls and luxurious soft furnishings reflect the lush green shades of the forest around you.
Our private Western Cape accommodation has its own hot tub and outdoor kitchen and barbecue area. It is the ultimate private retreat for both couples and families (Families on request)
Enjoy star gazing round the firepit and ponder the stunning treetop views from the wood fired hot tub.
There is WIFI in the main house and boosted mobile telephone signal and then you can be “off the grid”( No Wi-fi or Cellular Signal) in the self sustaining Eco lodges with Solar.
Externally, you are surrounded by forests, rivers, mountains and nature. Carefully tended gardens provide an ideal suntrap while the tree canopy provides welcoming shade from the heat of the day.
